Tera Toft is a seasoned HR professional and the founder of HR Compliance Advisors, based in Gallatin, Tennessee. She holds a Master of Jurisprudence in Labor and Employment Law (MJ-LEL) from Tulane University Law School, equipping her with a powerful combination of legal insight and practical HR expertise. Tera has spent her career helping organizations navigate the complexities of compliance, employee relations, and workforce development with clarity and confidence.
Her approach is hands-on and results driven. Whether she’s conducting on-site interviews to accelerate hiring or building customized compliance frameworks, Tera is committed to helping businesses stay ahead of regulatory changes while fostering inclusive, high-performing workplaces.
Tera is an active member of the Nashville Junior League, MTN SHRM, and National SHRM, where she continues to grow her network and stay at the forefront of HR best practices. She is also deeply committed to sharing her HR knowledge with nonprofit organizations, helping them build compliant, mission-driven teams that thrive.
Outside of her professional life, Tera is a wife, and proud mother to a very active 2.5-year-old boy who keeps her on her toes. She enjoys gardening, traveling, and curling up with a good novel.
